Social Media

For several organizations, I have managed their social media platforms and developed sample content. I use Canva to create content and have used Hootsuite to schedule posts.

Ironstone Farm

As an Advertising Intern at Boathouse Group, I worked collaboratively with a group of four other interns to create a comprehensive advertising campaign for our nonprofit client Ironstone Farm, which provides equine-assisted therapy, educational, and recreational riding programs.

Throughout the project, I planned and executed visual creative concepts and copy for organic and paid social posts.

Students for Sustainable Business (SSB)

Social Media

As Marketing Chair for Students for Sustainable Business, I managed the organization's Instagram page. I primarily created content advertising our meetings and events we host.

Earthfest is SSB's largest annual event. The event features fun activities, such as a Ben and Jerry's food truck, a rock climbing wall, and more to bring attention to Earth Day and to promote sustainability. This past spring, I developed the social media strategy for promoting Earthfest. This strategy included a weekly countdown as well as a giveaway on Instagram to generate engagement. Over 90 students entered the giveaway, and over 400 members of the Bentley Community attended Earthfest on April 21, 2023.

Promotional Materials

I was also responsible for designing promotional materials, such as flyers and handouts. These flyers were posted digitally, as well as occasionally in-person. I designed handouts to be displayed at tabling events, such as our "Save the Shark Week," which highlights the negative impacts of pollution in our ocean and our atmosphere.

Finally, I created SSB's annual "Guide to Shopping Sustainably," which is emailed out to the entire Bentley community around the holiday season in December, providing resources and recommendations on how and where to shop sustainably.

Center for Women and Business

As the former Communications Intern for the CWB, I was responsible for creating content for and managing the office's social media. The main platforms being used are Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I made use of each platform's analytics resources to analyze traffic sources and engagement.

I drew attention to diversity-related holidays, as DEI efforts are the focus of the office.
